Product Description
Immobile bedridden patients face two compounding risks: pressure ulcers from prolonged contact and hypostatic pneumonia from static lung secretions. A lateral rotation mattress addresses both simultaneously by gently rotating the patient 20–30° to each side on a programmable schedule.
The digital controller allows nursing staff to set rotation angle (10°, 20°, or 30°), rotation frequency (every 30, 60, or 90 minutes), and pauses the rotation during scheduled nursing cares. An integrated alternating pressure function continues to provide standard decubitus prevention while rotation is active.
Used in ICU step-down and long-term care settings where manual repositioning every 2 hours is impractical. Rental includes installation and caregiver training. Compatible with standard hospital bed frames.
