Wheelchair users are at significant risk of developing ischial (sitting) pressure ulcers during prolonged wheelchair use. This alternating air-cell seat cushion provides dynamic pressure relief across the ischial tuberosities and coccyx, reducing peak pressure by up to 60% compared to foam cushions.
The cushion connects to a small, lightweight DC pump that cycles automatically and can be tucked under the wheelchair seat. The non-slip base prevents the cushion from shifting during active transfers. A durable, washable cover is included.
