Product Description
Standard air mattresses are rated for users up to 120–150 kg, leaving bariatric patients — who are also at the highest risk for pressure ulcers — without adequate preventive support. This heavy-duty alternating pressure system is engineered for users up to 180 kg with reinforced chamber walls and a high-output pump.
The 24 deep-tube air chambers (25 cm depth) are manufactured from medical-grade reinforced PVC rated for repeated high-pressure inflation cycles. The pump cycles between odd and even numbered tubes every 7.5 minutes, relieving pressure across each body area twice per hour.
The heavy-duty nylon zip cover withstands twice-weekly machine washing at 60°C. The system fits standard 190 × 90 cm and 200 × 100 cm patient beds. A 5-year structural warranty on the tube chambers is included.
